Using the G-Technology configurator, you can change the RAID settings to either RAID 0 (Stripe) or RAID 1 (Mirror). The RAID 0 setting will allow for an increased performance across both drives and display the maximum capacity available. The RAID 1 configuration allows you to write the same information to both drives providing a better level of protection in the event one drive fails, however RAID 1 will reduce the capacity of the drive to 50% of the advertised capacity.
