RAID dismounts by itself, mounts back.
Hello,
We have started to have a strange issue today, with one of our G-Speed eS RAIDs.
We have 2 G-Speeds connected to a G-Tech RAID card, running on a MacPro (late 2009) with MacOSX ML.
Our 4TB RAID 0 drive started to dismount itself, without any reason, triggering the beep.
All the lights go off on the device, but after 10-20 sec. Light up again & and the drive mounts, beeping stops.
This happens sporadically, so it became impossible to continue to work.
Are these symptoms known to anyone?
Is there any reason there are no drivers for Lion or Mountain Lion?
Our system has been working fine at this setup, this just happened today.
The 2nd G-Speed eS 8TB RAID5 drive, is just humming along. No issues.
I thank you for your time.

Hi,
Thanks for your post. Have you checked the power connection to the drive? It may not be fully engaged and cause issues. Another thing to try is a new cable. The drivers for Lion and ML are built into the system. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Gene,
Thanks for your reply.
The connection was checked, but I will change the power cable anyway.
Hope that's it.
