Combine multiple RAIDs without data loss?
Hello,
I started with an 8GB G-Speed eS RAID5, and later added a second 8GB G-Speed eS RAID5. Currently, I see the RAIDs as two volumes, but I was wondering if it is possible to combine the two RAIDs into one 16GB RAID 5 volume without losing my data.
I'm not a RAID expert by any means, so I beg for forgiveness if this is a really dumb question.
Thanks!

Re: Combine multiple RAIDs without data loss?
Hi Eric,
Thanks for your post. As it turns out, you would need to backup your data before combining the 2 G-SPEED eSs into a single RAID5 volume. This is because you will need to delete the previous RAIDset before creating a new one, and this would destroy your data. Please let me know if you have any questions.
