Failure to mount
Hi,
I have recently bought a 4TB G Raid HDD with t/bolt. I then suffered a known fault with my macbook pro and had to transfer the mb pro's int HDD to another laptop, a macbook.
With no t/bolt port I have gone through an adaptor and a FW800 into the macbook but it doesn't mount and I can't see it in disk utility.
Please help.

Re: Failure to mount
Hi Cahrlie,
Thanks for your post. As it turns out, Thunderbolt drives will only work with Thunderbolt-equipped computers. The Thunderbolt to FW800 adapter will only work to use Firewire drives on thunderbolt ports. I would recommend that you return the G-RAID Thunderbolt and exchange it for the G-RAID GEN4 with Firewire, USB, and eSATA ports. Please let me know if you have any questions.
