White light constantly blinks

I just bought a new 0G02529 2TB hard drive. The drive seems to be working fine but the white light in the front of the drive blinks continuously whether I'm accessing data from the drive or not. I cannot find any information concerning the blinking light. Is there a problem if the white light continuously blinks or is normal? Thanks.

Hi Ed,

Thanks for your post. If you have recently copied or created new data on your drive, it may be Journaling activity you are seeing. Once the Journaling is finished, it should stop showing drive activity. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for your post! That must be it because the light stopped blinking after I posted and has started blinking again as I'm now working with data on the drive. Thanks again for your help.
