G-Drive 2TB Sleeps

I have a 2TB G-Drive. It will go to sleep in about 1 minute of non use. I have it set in my preferences that the HD's no t to go to sleep on my mac. Any help? I do not want it to go to sleep until at least 1 hour of non use.

Thanks for your post. Do you have the Energy Saver Preferences set for 1 hour? If not set it there, though I generally set mine for never as it can interrupt renders. Please let me know if you have any questions.

If G-Drive is connected to Airport Extreme or Time Capsule, which in effect turns the drive into Network Attached Storage, how are the sleep settings managed to force the G-Drive to never sleep?

The Energy Saver preferences sometimes does not affect some drives, and the 1 minute to sleep is a common occurance with the Airport Extreme.
