G-Safe with Apple OS Lion

My G-Safe mounts fine on my iMac running Snow Leopard, but when I upgraded to a new iMac that is running Lion it mounted for a short time and now will not mount. On both computers the drive was connected directly to Firewire 800 port. I have tried new cables. Another drive, g-Raid, connected to the same port on new mac mounts with no problem. If I daisy chain the drives the G-Raid always mounts, but not the G-Safe. Please help! Thank you.

Thanks for your post. Does the drive still mount OK on the original iMac? Have you tried other ports on the G-SAFE with the new iMac and Lion? Please let me know if you have any questions.
