Last month, established and budding filmmakers gathered in our G-Technology Hollywood office for one of Slamdance’s informative and inspirational Polytechnic sessions, “Building Your Film Career Through Festivals and Distribution Workshop: Tips & Tricks from The Workflow Masters.” G-Technology partnered with Slamdance, an organization that serves new and emerging artists, filmmakers, and storytellers, to host the workshop to enable, educate, and engage this generation of filmmakers and videographers. After a panel session with Slamdance alumni, G-Technology presented on all things workflow to offer tips and tricks for optimizing strategies around data transfer and storage to save time and precious footage. A recording of our livestream of the event can be found here. After the workshop, we sat down with a few panelists to discuss how they got started in filmmaking, their community, and what gear they use.
